Why I Chose to Attend an HBCU

Why I Chose to Attend an HBCU

Rev. Dr. Otis Moss, III on why he chose to attend a Historically Black College:

          •  HBCUs are the training ground for transformational servant leadership.

          •  There are no other institutions where intelligent, articulate, passionate and    diverse students of African heritage gather for the purpose of personal and  community development.

          • To learn in a sea of black brilliance is life giving and life altering for a Black person living in a space where some believe Black and brilliant must be an oxymoron.

          • HBCU’s taught me #Blackmindsmatter

          • And black brilliance is not an anomaly, but the norm!

          Students and Parents!

In July, Endeleo’s College and Career Readiness program travels to the State of Alabama offering prospective students the opportunity to visit several black college campuses.

          Imagine where it could lead.
